We can do it all at Bass Flats & Beyond. The boats are trailered. This allows unparalleled mobility and flexibility in the fishing charter business. Instead of keeping the boats at a marina, locking us into a specific area, we can move with the fish and with the weather. CAPTAIN JOHN LARSEN
Capt. John started Bass Flats & Beyond to share his passion and knowledge with others.
John has enjoyed the Florida waters all his life. It could be said that he was raised for this. It started for John when he was six years old working at his parents dive shop, Adventure Scuba, in Jupiter Florida. John soon began guideing groups of divers along the Jupiter Highledge.
In college John became competitive in bass tournaments. At UCF John became a member of the Reel Knights bass fishing team. The competition and the dynamics of the sport taught John how much he needed to learn to progress in the sport. John has competed in tournaments all over the Southeast region, and qualified for three colligate level national chamipsonships, inculeding FLW, BASS, and Boat US.
After college John started Bass Flats & Beyond to continue sharing and educating others about the sport. John spends his days running fishing charters with a hand selected group of captains, from Lake Okeecobee to the Gulf Stream.
