Labor Day Weekend Fishing Charter
Luise and his two sons from Brazil wanted an artificial only experience while Lake Okeechobee Bass Fishing. A weather system moved in on Saturday that isn’t really doing us any favors. A tropical system moved in from the Bahamas that brought heavy winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms. Due to the weather, we only had access to certain parts of the lake. That didn’t stop Luise from landing an absolute giant, on a speed worm. It’s been a bit of a grind all weekend, but you can’t catch anything sitting at home. There are schooling fish around the Kissimmee river and Indian canal, but they were more focused on the shad than our lures.
When you are looking to discover some of the best fishing here in Florida, Lake Okeechobee is the place to visit. All year long you can cash in on some incredible fishing action. Whether you want to throw artificial baits or live bait, you can most certainly make that happen here in Florida. Live bait is the most productive way to land consistent big fish but artificial baits like in this report can also bring in some giant bass!
I hope to get the chance to show you around these waters and provide you a trip you will never forget! See you on the water next time.
